Players have a lot of freedom in how they choose to develop V’s abilities. As V advances through Night City players will gain experience points to increase their overall level and street cred, which as street cred increases more jobs will open to V as their exploits have caught the attention of bigger names in the underground enterprises of Night City. V has five basic attributes: Body, Reflexes, Intelligence, Technical Abilities and Cool. Each of these have their own subsets of different subskills with branching skill trees. It’s almost overwhelming how many different abilities the player can spend their perk points, such as in areas of Street Brawling, Crafting, Assault or Hacking to name a small sample of what’s available, but a lot of perks mostly offer incremental bonuses to such things so there’s low risk of building the character a “wrong” way, but strategic examination of the available options can be used to create an optimal character based on a chosen playstyle. Wanting to make the character a master hacker, invisible ninja or in-your-face brawler and many other types of characters can be created through effective planning. In addition to building up V this way, there are also Ripperdocs all over Night City that for a price will gladly add and switch out various cybernetic enhancements.
Effects: Untraceable. Quickhacks against the affected enemy still initiate trace progress but do not increase it. Deafens the enemy, reducing their ability to detect you. Scrambles comms, preventing the affected enemy from communicating with their allies. Cloaks the enemy from their allies’ sensory systems, causing them to be ignored. Uploading Sonic Shock to an enemy already affected by Memory Wipe and reboot Optics will cause them to lose consciousn
While exploring Night City, gamers should loot everything. If it can be picked up, it should make its way into players’ inventory. Junk will automatically be disassembled, granting components, and players can use whatever they pick up that is an upgrade and either disassemble or sell everything else. After accumulating enough components, craft a hoard of weapons or clothing and sell it all to a vendor. Rinse and repeat this process and the eddies will pile up rapi

Songbird’s story is nearly identical to V, both characters are fighting to stay alive, drowning underneath the weight and pressure of everyone around them, constantly demanding more, using them until they can no longer breathe. Songbird’s been corrupted beyond repair by the Blackwall, and she knows she’s dying, losing her mind to corruption by rogue AIs that will leave her with nothing, not even her memories. She pleads to V to let her die and to spend her last moments with her so that she doesn’t have to be alone, as alone as she felt for her entire l
The Overwatch is the best sniper rifle in the game without debate. As a sniper rifle, reload speed is always useful when the window of opportunity for multiple targets is only so long. The built-in legendary silencer is incredible to help with those shots so enemies don’t scatter. If V puts a silencer on a gun, the damage gets reduced, even when using a legendary silencer, but this built-in variety keeps the damage f
Moreover, acquiring the Pack Mule (Body attribute, Athletics tree), as well as the Mechanic, Workshop (three points), and Cost Optimization (Technical Ability attribute, Crafting tree) perks will make crafting much more efficient. This increases V’s inventory space and improves crafting output through component cost reduction and increasing the rate at which components are gained. Gaining the ability to craft better equipment (such as rare, epic, PlayStation RPG Evolution and legendary) can also be useful, but sticking to uncommon items is efficient enough for quick monetary ga

However, as a tech weapon, the way to maximize the damage is to charge up each shot and shoot slowly. This means clips are few and far between and it’s easy to get stuck on an ineffective effect for the given enemy. The DPS is poor, even worse than other common pistols at the same level, making the gun nothing more than a burden to carry around. The complete mission list of the Phantom Liberty expansion is easier to knock out with a better pis
For the brute Netrunners out there, Synapse Burnout is going to be the Quickhack for them. This is the perfect Quickhack to synergize with the Overclock perk from the Intelligence Attribute, as it will increase the maximum damage bonus to an absurd 500%, as well as increase the time the enemy is affected. The Quickhack itself is lethal in all the right ways, providing near-instant death due to its stroke-like sympt![]()
