It is disappointing for fans that Fable did not make an appearance at this year’s E3 , but hopefully, fans will receive some official news soon. There are a lot of questions surrounding the mysterious new revival of the series and it is under tremendous pressure to bring Fable back in a big way for modern audiences. The team at Playground Games is immensely talented, however, and definitely has the ability to deliver something great for fans and new players al

Another opportunity that Fable could take advantage of is upgrading the game’s combat system. Every hero should still be able to wield melee weapons, ranged weapons, and magic, but Fable would benefit greatly from increasing the depth of all the options available to the player. Weapons that all feel vastly different from one another would help players be able to better flesh out their own unique playstyle while also adding some much-needed depth to the series’ combat encount

Of course, Fable should also bring back the high level of customizability that the series is known for. In previous titles, players have been able to fully customize their heroes in a variety of ways including their clothing, hair, gender, tattoos, and even their height and weight. Fable 2 recompile will have to keep the same level of personalization or even increase it otherwise it just won’t feel like it is part of the series at all. With Fable using the powerful ForzaTech engine , it will be interesting to see how much the customization translates or if there will be even more options for players to take choose f

This is when Kishibe Rohan realises that this story, being told to him by the man himself, is impossible. He is dead. Or, should be. And that’s when he reveals that he is alive and well, because he is the same as he has always been: a cheat, with zero empathy for those around him. He used his vast wealth and his legion of servants to quite literally have someone else take his place, forever. The one that has seemingly acted as a corn magnate (sorry I cannot get over this) for years and raised his young daughter is actually a servant that has undergone plastic surgery to look like his master, and the master did the same so he could blend in amongst the servants: a trick so intricate it even had the stupid psychic Stand curse fooled. I also have no doubt that this is where Hideo Kojima gleaned Metal Gear Solid 5 ’s big twist f

Thankfully, most of them are simple to find as they’re marked on the game’s map. But it’s not possible to simply stroll through them. A person has to fulfill special requests to get the doors to open. Unfortunately, most of the requirements are very vague, which is why they are often regarded as one of the more annoying things in the game . But players who do get through them are rewarded with some useful goodies and an achievement. Here is how to open them

BW: It does pick right up where issue 150 left off. In the first issue we meet a couple of new characters, and reconnect with some of the old and beloved ones. It follows the Wolf family, who’ve decided it’s time to move back to Bigby’s old stomping grounds (which is where the title “The Black Forest” comes from), and it also follows a Fables character we expected not to see again, as she navigates our world which used to be the mundy world, but is now a place of unleashed wild magic. The story’s about growing up, adapting to new ways, and letting go of old things that are past their t

Completing this quest rewards the Mighty Pebble Medal, which players can equip on Kabbu to grant him the Pebble Toss skill. Although it will always do 1 damage, Pebble Toss’s main purpose is to give Kabbu an attack that can target flying enemies, as Kabbu is helpless otherw

His success was a lucky break, yes, but it also came at the cost of the lives and well-being of those around him. And now he stands in a park in Venice, praying that he can flick some popcorn into the air and land them in his mouth, all while pigeons swirl around him and the twisted visage of his daughter growls threats to his life. On the third attempt, the sun breaks through the clouds above, blinding the man and causing him to fail his final popcorn catch. Almost an act of divine intervention. The man’s head comes off, fulfilling the threats the Stand made years earl

The world of Albion, as featured in Fable 3 , is a large and dense place filled with a lot of different things to find. The most unusual of them are the Demon Doors. These mysterious, rock-faced structures serve as portals to other wor

What better way to wind down after a long journey than by playing some games within a game? At some point during Chapter 6, the Termacade will open shop in the conspicuously vacant building in the Ant Kingdom. Unfortunately, the selection isn’t all that great. The Termacade offers a whopping two games to p

Once players defeat the Wasp King in Bug Fables and participate in the concluding celebration, they have beaten the game. However, the game’s not over after the credits roll. This charming title has a post-game that offers players a chance to see how the world of Bugaria has changed following the discovery of the Everlasting Sapling and the subsequent fall of the Wasp Ki
